Orlando Headgate
Below is the final design for the rehabilitation of the Orlando Headgate. We are planning on starting construction in January 2012.

While we have a completed design, there was some "prep work" that needed to be done before we started construction. Below is a picture of our employee's cleaning the ditch at the headgate. This "prep work" still allowed us to run water into the Orlando Reservoir.

We have started construction on the diversion.

Below is a picture of the installation of the sheet piling.

Making progress with the sheet piling. The project is coming along.

They are now placing and welding the cap on the top of the sheet piling.

The sheet piling has been completed, it stretches 180 ft. in width. Removing the dirt, compacting, and laying rip rap are the next steps in the project.

They are now stalking where the rip rap is going to be placed.

The rip rap is now being placed at the headgate.

Half way there with the rip rap.

Just a few more loads of rip rap and the job should be complete.

Here is the completed work on the diversion.
