Compost Site

Two Rivers has contracted with Compost Tech to produce enough compost, or "black gold" as referred to by farmers, for its organic farming operation. Through this operation Two Rivers will produce approximately 2,500 tons of compost.

Below is a picture of cow manure delivered to be turned into compost.

A carbon source is added to the manure to create compost.

Water is applied to the compost and gets turned constantly. The other picture is the water truck filling up the water tanks. The amount of water required to make compost is about 10,000 gallons a day.

After 90 days these compost furrow rows will be ready to put on our Organic farm land.
